By re-adapting the notion of the geoscopic regime introduced by the Italian geographer Eugenio Turri to cartographic visualisation models and geographical imagination, this article aims at laying the foundations for a techno-aesthetics of terrestrial vision. An aesthetics, then, that is not a philosophy of art or a science of beauty, but a critical reflection on the performance of the human aisthesis and its natural tendency to extend itself into artefacts.
