The article analyzes the theme of the ecosophy in the reflection of Panikkar. Criticizing modern rationalism and its theory of knowledge, which produces not only a dichotomy between subject and object but a reification of nature, Panikkar seeks an alternative in a form of mystical knowledge, which defines cosmotheandric experience. Reconstructing the relation between God-man-cosmos, through his intercultural perspective, Panikkar thinks in a new way of man-nature relationship. The soteriological key of his interpretation of the ecological crisis leads us to rediscover the co-creation of man and nature and the task of mediation divinely entrusted to man. To become interpreters of the wisdom of nature is then a way to be reborn with it, in the design of creation, by laying down our weapons and rediscovering our divine sonship.
